Currently, I am researcher at the University of Genoa (Italy) where I’m Director of the 3-years project EXPRESS – Experimenting on Presuppositions financed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research. I have studied at the University of Genoa (Italy) and at the University College London (UK). I have been Post-doc Researcher at the Department of Linguistics – University of Konstanz (Germany) and Visiting Lecturer at the Malmö University (Sweden).
My research in Psycholinguistics focuses mainly on theoretical and experimental semantics and pragmatics. My current research interests concern polar questions, presuppositions, implicatures, theory of reference, figurative language, context dependence, multimodal communication and the neurolinguistic components involved in pragmatic processing.
